Seen at the ecological reserve of Xochimilco, Mexico City. Economic bad times apparent at the park; the parks administration fired maintenance staff allowing for huge amounts of growth at portions of the park.

Torre – A different perspective
Been bogged down with loads of work so been picking and pulling from my HD. Just got the chance to shoot this weekend so I'll be posting something from that this week --hopefully. Feeling a bit down for having become a sort of weekend photographer in the past year, but priorities are what they are.

Some may wonder what is it that makes me focus so much on the "seemingly" old, tattered, and tawdry of Mexico City. The assumption, if ever made, is only that: an unfounded misconception. For me these places are encyclopedic, exhaustive manifestations of entropy's work on all that is --in our sphere of existence at least. In other words, all good things --inexorably-- come to and end.
