An oasis I get to more frequently than any other portion of Mexico City since I made it my new home.

Totally intrigued with this habit of taking breaks in the most undesirable of places.

Drive by shooting, which I don't recommend and involves more luck than anything else.

A photo of a young couple --Nestor and Carolina-- expressing their love for each other. They immediately got my attention sitting under a public photography exhibit at the Atrio of San Francisco. I asked if I could photograph and to continue as they were.

Another from the archives; this one from way back in 2006. It was shot at the Zocalo in Centro Historico (downtown), Mexico City. The guy in the chair is looking towards the Palacio Nacional which is the equivalent to that of the White House in the United States. The Centro Historico is also my shooting area of choice.

A teen and his friends walking in my direction as I waited for my wife and son buying refreshments at a nearby stand. Saw this guy with the big glasses and just knew he was not going get into a fit about being photographed. He gave me a thumbs up of approval while his friends laughed and they disappeared into the usual Mexico City crowd that fills Chapultepec park on Sunday afternoons.

Spent a day in Taxco last weekend. This was seen as my wife and I walked along the very narrow and crowded alleys.

Going through my HD I found this one from last year. Had asked if I could take his photo and he gladly agreed asking if it would be published in some newspaper or magazine. We listened as he discussed his past and present, but I couldn't help think about what his future might had been if opportunity and chance had dealt him a different set of cards. Then again, who am I to judge such matters?
