amazing how you have caught it so crisply for a moving subject, the PP is interesting too, almost a cross processed feel

Amaing shot, Luis! Great focus for the moving object and the angle selection makes me feel I follow this cycler myself trying to catch the focus on the wheel :) the DoF is perfect!

    Hello Rhys,

This shot was the result of some odd shooting holding the camera at that level while he peddled –sort of a gamble because I’m not looking through the finder when doing this. It’s also part of an exercise I’ve been forcing myself to in which I take only one prime lens with me and nothing else. There is also no particular aim, just waiting for something interesting to come to me. Tonight I might take a different approach on a walk with my wife as there is something I want to shoot in particular…let’s see how that turns out.

    Have a good one,

    Hello Tamara,

A break from the usual and some color to lighten up the mood :) Given the approach you could say it was truly lucky shot. Thanks.

That’s excellent, Luis. Like the out of the ordinary framing and capture. Have been thinking single focal length lately as well…

Thanks, Brad. Yeah, what I like about prime is how it forces you to use only the focal length on hand. I keep the rest of the gear at home to fight the temptation to reach for another lens.
