Ephemeral Visions

Transcending ephemerality through the lens and imagery.

Prehispanica

Traditional dance in downtown Mexico City.

Spent the day with these folks back in 2008. Sorry for pulling from the archives as I have been shooting some things here and there, but no time to go through it to check how it turned out. Will get to it, eventually.

If it wouldn't have the christian buildy a the right, it could have been one of your famous “out of the time” shot Luis, this is very strong ! :)

Not certain what you mean but there is no Christian structure to the right. In fact, the background is comprised of edifices destroyed by the 1985 major quake that shook Mexico City then.

It appears that something dates back to the Spanish colonization era, too, but that was also destroyed.

    Cheers!
