Mexico City Floor Map at Universum
Took my son and a friend of his on Sunday to a trip to the Universum science musuem here in Mexico City. Kind of trip I would do as a class trip back in New York as a kid, but it's not surprising here for teachers to ask children to do so on their own time during the weekend.

This is truly amazing image, Luis! If I haven’t read the title the first thought that cam to my mind was people on North Pole in search of smth! The map itself looks WoW! Never ever sa smth similar anywhere else. Though in Moscow we have lot’s of very large city panoramas and even cycloramas. Just wondering if it is the photographic map?
Hello!!! It is a photographic map and very large one too. Impressed with it from the moment I saw it; spend enough time and you can find any residence as the images are very high res.

This is really a powerful mono shot, this map beeing so luminous, it glows on my screen… they look as if they were looking for gold.
Mexico is so huge, I was already amazed when I came there in 1978, I was 14 years old at that time.
I like how you have created an “other worldly” feel with this shot. Had you not had a description I would have been wondering how this could be.

Me encanta está metáfora del viaje: viajar localizado y buscarse uno mismo en un más allá otro. Aunque los niños están, quizás, intentando encontrarse ellos mismos en el mapa (?). La foto está bien estructurada, con estas dos líneas oblicuas que parten desde nuestro punto de vista y los niños ubicados en medio de ellas.
Reno, tristemente muchos no se buscan; no quieren saber ni les interesa quienes son. Y en esta era, hasta los niños se han dejado de preguntar cuestiones fundamentales de la vida como quien soy y a donde voy, y el porque de las cosas porque hay tanto que destrae (i.e., peliculas, la tele, juegos, Internet, etc., etc.). Más a aún me lla la atención cuando veo que hay “jovenes” muriendo por una infermedad nueva. Un grupo que hasta recientemente en la historia se tomaba por acentando cierta garantía de futuro, vida, y exíto.

Mexioco Universum is the best holiday spots for the mexican lovers and the theme of the image get clearly stats that the awesome floor map of mexico and we are keenly waiting for few more interesting news related to mexican country.
