Ephemeral Visions

Transcending ephemerality through the lens and imagery.

The Evening Walker

man walking

Seen on corner of Brazil and Francisco I. Madero from the Zocalo, Mexico City. Grainy due to the need of high ISO, but it takes me back to film back in the late 80s when I had started experimenting with photography.

this is a very fine look of a street scene where one is tired from a long day of work and walking home. very nice mood captured.

I don’t know why, but it reminds me Montréal @ Canada, a city I lived in for 4 years … Damn I miss that life … I have the blues now. It’s a really touching shot, everyone can see something about himself inside it.

“I’m stranded in the jungle / Taking all the heat they was giving / The night is dark but the sidewalk’s bright / And lined with the light of the living” (Bruce Springsteen)

Brilliant, Luis, just brilliant! I’m running out of words, you left me here speechless looking at this beauty, my friend! An amazing shot & a truly great photograph!

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
